Account & Data Deletion

NewsKart users can request deletion of their account sync profile and associated app data by contacting our team.

1. How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your NewsKart account and associated data, email us at:

delete@newskart.app

You can also submit a request through our support form: https://forms.gle/Au6NgzHJ2VnsLUz28

In your request, include the email address used for NewsKart account sync and write: Delete my NewsKart account and associated data.

2. What We Delete

After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymize account-related data such as:

  • Email-based account sync profile.
  • Saved stories linked to the account.
  • App preferences linked to the account.
  • Notification tokens linked to the account or device, where identifiable.
  • Community report profile data if community reporting is enabled in the future.

3. What May Be Retained

Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, payment dispute, security, or compliance purposes. This may include payment references, subscription records, support messages, abuse-prevention logs, or records required by law.

Data stored locally on your device may remain until you clear app data or uninstall NewsKart from your device.

4. Processing Time

We aim to process deletion requests within a reasonable period after verifying the account. Complex requests, payment disputes, legal obligations, or abuse investigations may take longer.
